Power distribution for factories, workshops, commercial buildings, campuses and critical facilities — where the transformer sits inside or next to the building and cannot be a fire risk.
Inside a plant or a building, an oil-filled transformer brings questions the utility never has to ask: fire load, oil containment, ventilation and access for maintenance. Cast-resin dry-type transformers remove most of that problem, and our packaged substations can be designed so the equipment arrives tested and ready to connect.
The second question is the load. Motors, welding equipment and variable-speed drives produce harmonics and inrush that punish the wrong transformer. We will size the unit against your actual load profile rather than a generic derating rule.
We size from the load list, not from a default. Send the connected load, the duty cycle and the fault level and we will come back with a proposed arrangement.
| Application | Typical configuration |
|---|---|
| Factory or workshop indoor substation | Cast-resin dry-type transformer SCB series, 630–2000 kVA, 10/0.4 kV, Dyn11, IP20 or IP23 enclosure |
| Heavy motor or drive load | Dry-type or oil-immersed transformer sized for harmonic content and inrush, with reduced losses |
| Commercial building or campus | Two dry-type transformers for redundancy, plus LV assemblies with busbar connection |
| Outdoor distribution on site | American type packaged substation, 400–1250 kVA, with LV distribution compartment |
| Incoming switchgear | KYN28A-12 metal-clad withdrawable switchgear with protection and interlocks |
| Low voltage distribution | GGD fixed switchboard or XL21 power cabinet, with JP outdoor cabinet for yard installation |
Dry-type construction removes oil, so the unit can be installed closer to occupied areas, with less containment and less fire protection work.
We check harmonic content, starting duty and ambient temperature before proposing a rating, and we tell you when a simple rating increase is not the answer.
Transformer, switchgear and LV assemblies are made and tested by the same team, so interfaces and clearances are already resolved.
